A Thank You note was received from Lysle and Mary Luke for their honorary membership. Old Business: John stated he has had three unsuccessful attempts to contact The Reporter for the TV and DVD presentation. Jim volunteered to announce this on his radio program. Grills: Paul generously donated a grill to our Flying Club. A plaque will be attached to the grill with his name and the date. Motion per Joe and seconded by Don. Don to order the grill and have it delivered to his employer. Deadline for $10 membership dues is this meeting. New Business: Motion to accept Sunday, June 4th from 0700 to1200 for this years’ Fly-In was made by Roger and seconded by Jim. This is the 60th anniversary of our Club. Joe to place ad in Michigan Aviation. Scott to place ads in the usual magazines. Katrina to contact Air Care. The club members are to think about additional aviation-related or local organizations that may be interested in participating in our Fly-In. The dates for the Young Eagles Flights are: 5/20/06 and 10/7/06 from 0800 to 1200. The motion to continue our meeting dates on the first Thursday of each month was made by Joe and seconded by Paul. We discussed the status of The Clubs’ non-profit Federal ID #. Don pays a yearly fee and will report back to us at the next meeting. The donation to the Presbyterian Steeple Fund is permanently tabled. Our next meeting will be Feb. 2, 2006 at 1830 at the Administration Building. We will have a pancake supper utilizing our new grill. Duane will bring the pancake mix and we are to bring toppings to share. Motion to adjourn per Joe and seconded by Don.
