 Minutes of 03/02/06

A Thank You letter was received from Marvin and Phyllis Rosenberg for their honorary       membership.                                  

Secretary’s Report:

     Approved as read.                          

Old Business:

     The second grill has arrived.

     Secretary to send Paul a Thank You card from the club.

     A lengthy discussion concerning carts versus a trailer for transporting the grills resulted in a            motion from Duane to purchase a custom-made trailer from Shaun. Stan seconded the            motion. Motion carried.  

    June 4^th duty roster:

          John made a schedule for workers to sign and is to contact the Bronson Fire Dept.

          Duane is to check with Star of the West for pancake mix.

          Seth is to acquire the ice. He will also contact Walmart Aviation and the Coldwater Fire                 Dept.

          Joe will provide the PA system and contact the motorcycle club for parking. He also has                     secured  tables and chairs.       

          Roger will provide XM radio for background music.

          Shaun will provide 4-wheelers, a tractor, and most importantly, Elite Air to house our Fly-                   In.

          Don offered his trailer and will supply the straw.

          Shirley is to pursue a face painter.

          Katrina is waiting for a return call from Air Care.

          The possibility of having a dunk tank and an air cage for children was discussed.

A motion was made by Katrina and seconded by Scott to waive Shaun’s membership fee for all      the services Shaun has provided and continues to provide. Motion carried.                              

Our next meeting will be April 6, 2006 at 6:30 pm in the Administration Building. We WILL have a pancake supper utilizing our new grill. Duane is to bring the pancake mix, John the sausage, and Stan a turkey fryer.
